Illyrian Symphony Orchestra is a nonprofit community orchestra. It was incorporated in Venice, FL, and received 501(c)(3) designation in 2021. Upon relocating to the area, Maestro Andi Zdrava noticed a growing desire for music and art. This inspired him to create a community orchestra for advanced players.

The name of the orchestra is a nod to the Albanian origin of Maestro Zdrava. “Illyrian” was the ancient name of the vast territory along the coast of the Adriatic and Ionian seas.

The mission of the Illyrian Symphony Orchestra is to provide the highest possible quality of music to the community by offering a platform for musicians to study, share, and present music to their community. Additionally, ISO is focused on education. It is very important for future generations to have a strong cultural foundation and an outlet for expression, whether it be by listening or by performing.
